Tip #1: Using Google adsense to monetize your blog
First and foremost, What is Google Adsense? According to thebalancesmb.com, Google AdSense is an advertising program that allows you to run ads on your website, blog, or YouTube videos and get paid when visitors click on them. The ads are generated from businesses that use Google’s AdWords program that you feed using a special AdSense code onto your blog or website.

This is how it works, you register for Google Adsense > google checks your site to see if it meets the minimum requirements, then google requests to post ads on your site > your visitors click on those ads > each time they click on those links, you make money (i.e google pays you) > when you reach a particular threshold, google credits your bank account. But note, You need to get a good amount of visitors for you to earn from this. Click here to register and get started!
Tip #2: Selling products / Providing services on your site
Another way you can monetize your blog is by selling products on your site and offering reasonable services. People are ready to pay for what you know how to do best. You can start advertising the products of vendors such as clothes, shoes, hair products etc. then you add your own cut on the price of those products. When someone buys the product, you take your own cut, give the vendor his/her own cut and then you deliver the product to the buyer.
This is one of the easiest methods to make money on your blog. You don’t have to own the products or be the one that offers the services, you only act as the middleman between the buyer and the vendor, then you make your money.

Tip #4: Selling Ad space
Do you have a huge amount of visitors that troop in every month on your site? Then you’re in huge luck. Companies are willing to pay you a huge amount of money just for advertisements. They can either pay you per clicks (PPC) or pay on a monthly basis.

All you do is to place a banner on your blog with the notice – Advertise On This Spot. Companies will contact you and you can tell them the rates you charge. You can also inform your friends and family, they can patronize you or spread the word.
Tip #5: Make Money by simply Creating Tutorials
Create a tutorial telling people how to get things done. Tutorials usually get a lot of social shares and likes. So you make those tutorials and encourage users to like and share them on social media. Most of the time people may not have the time to go through these tutorials and may want you to help them with it, so they pay you to get the job done for them.
You can also offer tutorials on your blog and then sell your products or affiliate products through it. This is one very good way to make money on your blog. For example, suppose you are giving a tutorial on how to cook a particular meal, you can offer to sell your cookbook for the meal on the tutorial or even the ingredients needed for preparing the meal.
